I've pulled him the moment he channeled it with Blitzcrank, I've cast silence from his Stack Field Ultimate, I've landed stuns on with Cass, nothing

Have you tried killing him before it goes off?
It's working as intended. It's not a channel, so it won't be stopped by CC.
His ultimate has a long cast animation; it isn't a channel.
thats because it is uninteruptable if he presses the button it will go off regardless of cc
It's not a channeled ability. Once he casts it that's it. You have to kill him in one hit if you want to stop it.
It's because it has a wind up animation and not a channel. Basically the only way to cancel it is kill him but alternatively you can displace him and it'll fire from his new location.
