League Client has trouble opening

Big problem I have been having with the new client. Whenever I open the launcher by double clicking it flashes the "LEAGUE OF LEGENDS" logo on the middle of my screen and then disappears without a trace of ever being clicked. This causes me to have to click on this a lot of times until it decides to open (yes i have waited for it to do something and no nothing happens)
