Anivia interaction with Fear while in Zhonyas

Recently played a game asAnivia against a nocturn. Bought item 3157 Used it when he was channeling his fear while my ult was up beneath me (item 3157 doesnt cancel ult) and when his fear did activate it canceled my ult while I was in the middle of item 3157 active. Now i know every hard cc cancels her ult, BUT I always thought you were immune to it during Zhonyas active.

So I dont know if this was intended or if its just a bug, just throwing it out there. I am ass at computers so dont know how to post the game play but https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2892720311/217145379 this is the game it happen in.

item 3157 makes you invulnerable and untargetable during it's effect.

But just as it is with Vladimir w for example, things like Leblanc root will still go through if the chain is applied before he goes untargetable. Same goes for the Nocturne fear.

As Zhonyas just makes you invulnerable on top of untargetable, but it's not specified that you are immune to cc during it, I believe it's intentional to be able to be cc'ed during Zhonyas, even if it usually has no effect as the effects usually already ended by the time Zhonyas is over.
