Black screen after Que accept and client freezes when I try to minimize friends list.

Riot, guys i'm not sure what the deal is but after the last patch my client is acting crazy. I have been getting black screens right after I accept into a match and it's just lag. eventually with time the black screen goes away and the game catches up if you I have not been kicked for failing to ban a champion. I looked up ways to try and stop this from happening and it is the friends list acting crazy. I qued up for a match went to minimize my friends list and the client just freezes in place. Do it a second time after relog and it freezes again. The second I don't que up and minimize then que everything is fine. Please fix.

You are not alone. Most of the time it fixes itself moments before you have to pick or ban, but I actually lost a promo match due to it staying black screen until "I dodged." It was that moment I put in a bug report for it... we'll see how it goes.

This happened to me 3 times during the last 2 days.

Losing rating and unable to play because of a client bug = priceless.

I am also having this issue right now, happened twice while in champ select. It is just a black screen and actually made me lose points because it was ranked.

Solution people:

Go to your friends list and select the group offline and group mobile. Then minimize those folders. The issue cleared up for me after that.
