Spectator Mode Not Working

Ever since the map change crossover, I've had extreme problems with spectator mode. I play on a Macbook Pro, with Maverick operating system. I know this is a common problem, because on the old boards, dating all the way back to 2 months ago or longer, this was commonly being posted about. Why is this and how can it be fixed?

Additionally, the same way the game skips in spectator mode, it actually skips the same way for me in game occasionally. What can I do about this?

Second this one. A couple things I have noticed here is that:

Spectator mode crashes when I try to start it up with a message of, "An attempt to connect to the spectator server has failed. Would you like to try again?"
On the main client, I can often not even see the games available to spectate. It's just an empty box or it says "Connection Lost [Refresh]"
On the few times I make it into a game, it lags out very quickly afterwards.

This happens no matter what OS I am running.

It's also been happening to me too, but there hasn't been a fix or anything, considering that it's happening to a very low amount of people.

Hi! I'm having this error "connection failed: connection to spectator server failed.would you like to retry?" whenever I try to spectate a game. I choose retry, but then the same error pops up. Are there any possible solutions?
