Windows Frame Drop and Sound Bug

Over the past week or so I have been noticing increasing instances of frame drops (even when I am not in a teamfight with lots of abilities getting thrown around). Furthermore, today I had an aram game where when I used Zhonyas as Karthus and all sounds cut out except for a loud buzzing noise, for about 3-5 seconds. This was accompanied by the frame rate drop and glitching as well.
