Dodged but still put in the game

So I was in a Norms draft lobby with my champion locked in but had to dodge because one of my family members needed help with something, I thought the task I needed to help with was gonna be long because they are usually like that

Surprisingly the task didn’t take that long but I waited about 5-15 mins before getting back in league because I dodged

After about 20 mins eating food and watching YouTube I decide to log back in and find myself back inside the game I dodged

Sadly I couldn’t finish out the game because I didn’t have time so had to drag 4 other ppl in a hell of a 4v5, but I’m so confused

My time management wasn’t good I’ll say that I couldn’t finish the 4v5 due to not having time, so yea that was my fault for not managing my time poorly, but why was in a game that I dodged in the first place?
