Hello, i just had a game with an issue where i was playing Tresh and Warwick was using his Q on me and at the same time my grab hit him on melee range (we were in river alone) but he wasn't affected by the grab's CC. And he didn't ult me or nothing just hit Q then proceeded to auto-attack me.
UI says ult was on cooldown before and after.
You should play some WW to learn his abilities. He cannot be displaced mid Q (you can test this by attacking dragon in a custom then Q-charging it).
From the wiki on stuns "Dashes that grant immunity to disables will ignore the effects of Stun for the duration of the dash, but the target will be affected upon landing if the disable duration permits."
Now onto the specific interaction with Thresh. Thresh Q does not apply the stun to anyone who is CC immune when the hook lands. Thresh wiki "The stun will be ignored by targets with crowd control immunity". It also states "Targets who were immune on application will not be periodically tugged at any point during the effect, even if the immunity wears off before the effect is finished." However, " the tether is still formed and Thresh can still dash to his target".
So basically, this is just how thresh Q works against dashes that grant CC immunity. However, If you had been something like Morg or lux, he would've been rooted after the dash for the persisting duration.
