client communication bug

For the past few days I don't have access to communication features in the client. No chat in lobby, no chat in champ select, no friend requests etc.

At one point I thought that it was fixed, but it returned.

This is a highly impactful bug.

Anybody else having this issue? ("connecting...")

Also, I notice that my summoner level is blacked out under my icon in the upper right corner. Only in this one place, and elsewhere it appears as normal.
