I'm not sure if this can even be fixed as it only happens when another game is running, but here you go.

1.) Using a Windows 10 desktop (preview build 10162 used), launch Terraria. Terraria can be anywhere, title screen or in-game. 2.) Launch League and start a custom match. (Any match reproduces the issue.) 3.) Proceed through champion select and wait for the League client to start. 4.) Observe crash.

Reproduction rate: 5/5 attempts. Occurs in all game modes.

Bug: League suffers a DirectX crash at launch on Win 10 when Terraria is also running. The loading screen will never appear, and the user will only see a black screen. Attempting to alt tab out fails, and the user must ctrl alt del and open task manager to recover. Upon doing so, a message is seen stating "An unknown DirectX error occurred and League of Legends can not start. Please make sure your video card is running the latest video drivers from the manufacturer."

Quitting Terraria and reconnecting allows the game client to boot, but the user has no method of knowing to do this other than guesswork.

Expected Result: League does not crash upon game boot with Terraria running.

Relevant Hardware: AMD Radeon HD 7850 Driver version: 15.200.1023.7

I am just shooting in the dark here, but I don't think we yet officially support Win10. I'll poke an engineer.

If anything it's DirectX/Windows getting conflicted between the two programs. That is why it's Ideal to run one game at a time because games have their own way of using software/drivers.

One game I had flagged another game as cheating software. So...

This is why programming is the shittiest job in the universe. Also why programmers develop lazy programmer syndrome.

I've been having an issue too. But now it's sort of permanent. Before I could refresh the client and it'd work again, but now it's not working. Below I have attached my DirectX file if it helps. Please explain to me what it is exactly ASAP.
