Laggy Client/Loading screen

Ever since the most recent patch, my client has been unstable and task manager has been picking up 3 instances of "League of legends client." Is there an explanation for this? My friends have reported the same lag from the client from time to time. Is there possibly some sort of memory league caused by the client itself or something? Would be great if it could be fixed.

I have the same problem! It's annoying as F. and now im in low priority queue thx to this crash. >:(
