ARAM Champ Select was just a black screen

And my friend's going like "ooh a skin boost" and I COUlDN"T EVEN USE IT AND I still had my AP masteries but I apparently got Draven so that would be completely useless so I just had to dodge so that was horrible Now I have to wait 15 minutes to requeue and that stinks.

Can anyone tell me what went wrong?
