I've noticed this happening since maybe 5:10-ish, but Thresh doesn't properly execute minions with the Relic Shield proc anymore. Well, you can CS them properly and your ally would receive the full gold, but the act of executing a minion with an auto from the health range other champions can use the Relic proc flat out doesn't exist. Any explanation to this aside from me thinking it's a bug?
Thresh is a ranged champion. Relic Shield procs melee attacks. If this was happening before, it was either a bug or your Flay bonus was kicking in.
The execute is melee-only. Gold-shared occurs when you kill a minion through any method (AA, spells, items, etc)
Thresh is a ranged champion, thus he does not get the execute.
This topic tends to appear every few weeks, so I would recommend searching to see if someone has already posted the issue before making a new topic.
The relic shield only procs with melee attacks, but the thing that makes thresh work with this and not other ranged supports is that Thresh's E passive allows him to have a similar execute, also works for poke.
