Game freeze problem as of 5.6 [Client?]

I logged on to play a game this afternoon and it downloaded like 2 extra files for the last patch. That part went ok, but when I got into game only made it to lvl 4 and the whole game froze. Couldn't restart it or close it.

So, I restarted the whole computer instead, but now when I click on league it just keeps giving me the blue loading circle and not doing anything.

Going to try to reinstall league and see if that fixes it. Is there any way I can have the "leave" changed to a regular loss and is anyone else having this problem?
