Client slows down internet activity (even when idle)

Used to be able to stream live videos on youtube or twitch with the client open no problem, it would run smooth (Legacy and also a few patches back everything was fine)...I don't know what update was made to the client in the last 2 weeks but it's starting to slow down other internet activity. I just noticed this earlier today while I was trying to watch Rift Rivals NA vs EU with the client open. The video would freeze every 5-10 seconds. I closed the client, never freezed once. I don't know what y'all got the client doing in the background that is causing this but it needs to be fixed. I tried un-checking the option on login that says "Allow peer to peer transfer" to see if that would make a difference but it didn't. Ugh, it seems like every other day there's some new issue with this client, so sick of this shit. Legacy client needs to come out of retirement, this is getting ridiculous.

They made the client connect to the internet browser. I don't know why. when You can get in game, and you pause a stream or refresh you can see the lag. Don't know why they did it. I find it funny, and the most stupidest choice if you ask me.
