A dead Chronoshifted Morgana continues to Soul Shackle her enemies

If Morgana ults and if Zilean ults her, but she happens to die, the tether does not break. It happened originally during an ARAM where I was like I can just kill her and break the tether, even though she will be revived with more HP. Not getting stunned was more important than Morgana having more HP, so I decided to kill her. However, it did not work this way and I ended up getting stunned instead and she got more HP upon reviving. I just tested it in a custom game and it still did this, even though Morgana is considered dead.

I wonder if there are other bugs similar to this, such as interactions with Guardian Angel, or other champs that have something similar to Morgana's R.

That's because during revival states, (Including GA and Zil Ult), You're technically made untargetable, removed from the map (Much like Elise Rappel), and left at 1 HP, you're then healed for however much the revive is supposed to put you at. This is why if you die under a revival system, and Kindred ults where you're reviving, you'll only revive with 1 hp.

Where are you getting this info about Kindred? Source please. You're quite literally dead though. Garen won't continue to spin, Fiddle's ult will cancel, Swain will not be healing from his ult either, etc.

the stuff about kindred is first hand experience.

The rest of it, Anything that explicitly states it stops on death is canceled, other things are specifically programmed to persist through the revival period.

I just tried the Kindred ult. That was pretty stupid. I think Riot should change it so that it heals you to whatever HP the revive is supposed to give.

It's a stupid interaction, but it's because the Revives are codes as heals, and Kindred's ult stops HP gain or loss on targets below a certain threshold, and when you're reviving, you're below that threshold.

This is intentional. Morgana's soul shackles maintains through changes in the state of champs, such as guardian angel, zhoynas, chronoshift, or on enemy champs, such a vlad's blood pool and many (though not all) others. I even think it stays on if the enemy zhonya's, can't remember though. They'll still be immune to damage, but the tether will stay up.

I don't think that it should do that. I remember when champs like Wukong or Garen would continue to spin while they are reviving, but Riot removed that.

I dunno, we're comparing apples to orange here.

Morg's ult relies on a mage jumping in the middle of the fray with a skill that basically yells "FOCUS ME OR RUN". Being able to Zhonya while doing so is the reason there's a "run" part, otherwise most people would simply kill her right there. Her kit is also centered around landing that ult, as the rest of it is rather lackluster without it. And she can't seek out more targets once it's casted, or simply use the CC part of it instantly and leave.

Wukong can easily dash to you, ult you up and leave if it get's hot. As long as his team can finish up the job, his work is over. Morg has to commit once she ults, and as such is given more liberty once her ult is in motion.

Luckily, if she uses Zhonya it's usually easy to get out in time, so if anything, I'd consider the whole Chronoshifted Morgana ult thing a unique synergy more than a problem. AP should have a Zhonya for that, while ADs have QSS (which you should have vs. Morg anyway unless you want to have a 5 minute break whenever you eat a binding)

I just think that it should be consistent across the playing field. Unless it is otherwise explicitly stated, no one champion should have that advantage. For example, Baron and dragon are immune to cc. However, Bard comes along and it is explicitly stated that although Baron and dragon cannot be cc'd usually, Bard is the exception that can. I think that unless Riot explicitly includes that in Morg's ult description, it should not be able to do that.

Bard's ult isn't considered CC by the game, you can't cleanse or QSS it; GP can't eat an orange and be K, Ali can't roar his way out of it and Olaf can't ragnerok during it (although Olaf is immune if he is already ulting, pretty much the only exception).

For all intensive purposes, tempered fated just outright removes all units struck from the game for 2.5 seconds

Other exception is black shield, does indeed stop bard ult. similar to how an ulted olaf does.

The thing is, Morgana's ult counts as a debuff to enemies which has a tether range to be in effect over directly putting it on them like malzahar's E, so as long as she's alive of in a psuedo state of being alive, or invulnerable, the effects of her ult will still be on unless they leave the range or qss it. Garen's E or wukong's ult doesn't count as a debuff therefore it doesn't work in a psuedo state of alive. However garen's E and wukong's ult will work with zhonya's tho

If I remember, being in that revive chronoshift state is not dieting, thus you are still alive and are able to channel still. You can not cast or move, but similar to Zhonyas spells will remain going.
