Client Crashed During Champ Select, Still Got Banned

Soooo...the LoL client crashes during champ select, I still get banned? Seems wrong.

As for the actual bug, I was deleting Mastery Pages. That's it. Deleted 3 Mastery Pages in a row during champ select and the client crashed.
