New Champ Select bug?

So, I factory reset my computer and spent a good chunk of time waiting for League to patch all over again, mainly to check out the new champ select. So far I am incapable of joining a game I've been invited to, or selecting anything other than blind pick in the mode select. After relogging, I couldn't invite a friend, and after trying to invite a friend, my client joined the lobby I had previously tried to join (before I relogged) repeatedly, no matter how many times I exited to lobby. Pre-queue lobby was also the old blind pick design. Has anyone else experienced any similar issues? Or does this maybe have to do with my factory reset shenanigans?
