Picture shows it all. Shen was the villain, yet his auto attacks were dealing true damage to Garen. Also note that Ki Strike deals magic damage, yet it is shown as being mixed damage.

Ki strike does mixed because it's an auto attack + magic damage, so it just bundles that together and calls it "mixed"
