Unable to connect to chat
After loging in today, my game said that there was an error. After clicking close, my game attempted for 2 minutes to connect, it fails. is this an ongoing problem, or is this something specific for me?

Same issue. Logging out and in didn't fix it.
I am getting the same problem as of about an hour ago.
I am having the same problem. I've logged out twice and it's still persisting.
Same. Im able to play a game. But i cant chat. I havnt gotten into a game yet (currently in champ select) it seems its only chats. Cuz i cant even message on the champ select chat.
And as stated before relog doesnt fix it.
Not sure what it is but I keep getting the unknown error reports too :(
League is working on it! :) Everyone. Although Chat is not possible at the moment you can still play with friends. Just go into the Arrange team cue then click the invite button on the right hand side below the map info. In Invites, you will have to type the full user name of your friend in the right search bar, then click Invite players. They will be able to accept but remember no one will be able to chat until they have fixed the issue. Hopes this helps a little!
