Every time I switch to hammer stance on Jayce, there's a small mini lag spike. Am I the only one that has this?
This one was quite a journey. Finally figured out what's causing it with the help of our compatibility lab (they have lots of machines with different hardware specs) and some creative scripting.
Turns out that the there's an image file that should have been cached on Thundering Blow that's, instead, being reloaded every time we switch to that spell. I'm wrapping up a fix to make it so that all of the textures like this one will be cached, so we only have to load them once.
To be clear, this will be in 6.22. Patch 6.21 is already printed on the punch cards, ready to be shoved into the mainframes.

Im a Jayce main and this has become a real problem for me. Lets hope riot fixes this soon.
I too hav that issue... I thibk it's cause of the animation.....

This bug has been around so much that is now a feature of Jayce.
How has Riot not fixed this yet?
I tried him out on URF today and the game wasn't even fun because of it.
I was worried the problem was on my side so I went on the boards and I typed Jayce, and this was one of the first threads that showed up.
How can anyone even play Jayce anymore? How can it be bad to go melee when an assassin blinks onto you?

Guys we have to keep reporting to support and making threads. I jsut made one. Are u guys still doing it ? we need to fix this issue coz i Main Jayce and it happens to me all the time i transform into MErcury mode.
Yeah you aren't the only one. There used to be a bigger thread posted a few days ago but it seems that it's been taken down for whatever reason.
