Lag spikes whenever an enemy gets near me (5th repost due to no responses)

This issue started 2 or 3 weeks ago and I'm at a loss when it comes to fixing it. Everything runs smoothly when I'm farming in jungle or whatever. But the second I enter a team fight my ping shoots up to 3,000ms (or more), everything freezes for a few seconds, sometimes it says I disconnected, and when everything goes back to normal a few seconds later I'm dead and my team is flaming me.

This only ever happens when an enemy champion gets near me and is worst in team fights with several people. It is so consistent that if I'm in lane by myself and an enemy champion enters a bush near me for a gank (unbeknownst to me) that I will start to lag, only for an enemy jungler to appear a second later.

Help, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've tried reinstalling several times My internet speed is 40 Mbps upload, Download 50 Mbps, latency is normal GeForce is updated Nothing every buffers on my internet, Netflix, YouTube, etc. Windows is up to date. Firmware is updated on my modem.

Same here, along with fps drops. Doesn't happen all the time, but is quite a frequent issue

After a lengthy process with Riot support I managed to fix it. I tried over a dozen solutions but the one that worked was resetting my modem and router to factory settings. Hope this helps you guys.
