Client Chat Not Scrolling Down Automatically

This only happens when I'm receiving a new message. When I send a new message to a friend, it automatically scrolls down to what I typed - this is normal and working as intended.

However, when I'm receive a new message it doesn't automatically scroll down and I have to manually scroll down to see it.
