Since update a couple hours ago, freeze during gameplay [CLIENT?]

So I start League up, was chatting with some people, say I'll be playing in an hour or two... come back to the screen, there's a "there's an update to fix performance issues, want to restart?" message. Yeah. I restarted and the game that was working fine last night is busted as hell today.

At least five times I'll get this stuttering, FPS goes from 80 to 5 to 0, and when it starts moving again, my ping spikes to 705. Always 705, exactly 705.
Actually... if it starts moving again. First game nothing went awry; last two games it did this to me 4x, and the last time, the freeze didn't end. I could alt+tab out to windows, and command prompt showed an unusual 1.4gb ram usage (~600k more than usual, almost twice), and the program wouldn't exit. Had to restart my computer. (ofc got punished for leaving although we came back to win, still went 5-2 despite being gone for eight minutes or so! oof.)

Anyone else having issues???

I pretty much NEVER have issues like this, not in years. Whatever y'all fixed broke me. I'm sure I can get system information if someone from Rito actually cares to look.

I'm having similar issues but with my fps. I go from 144- 90- 45- 0- and then back to 90 and go between 40 and 90 where I usually have a constant 144 fps all game. I tried restarting my computer, updating my drivers, closing everything, changed settings, even downloaded a fps booster and nothing is helping.

Is it the patch? Is anyone else experiencing this? My pc isn't that old so I'm not sure what's going on...

The single worst part about League of Legends is how... I've played since s2, and the 3x I've issued bug reports, I get nothing in response. Never once, not a goddamn thing, from staff. You really don't look like you care about the people playing. W/e.

I can always play something else.
