Client login consistently fails the first time I attempt it.

The first time I attempt to log in to my League of Legends account after booting up my computer, I get stuck on "logging in", then am given an error stating I couldn't connect to the server. The second login always works and doesn't provide any errors; It's gotten to the point where I've recently gotten into a routine of launching the client, logging in, closing as soon as it tries to start logging in, then restarting the client and logging in normally.

This hasn't been much of an issue previously, since it's only required me to restart the client; but it's become a much larger problem with massive login queues. After waiting 20 minutes on a 20,000+ queue, I was given the same connection error as always and forced to close my client and start again.

What is this issue?

Same here. Everytime I log in theres error and client closes, then I reopen it and it works.

If I try to log in for the first time and there is an error, and I leave it open without closing it or clickin 'ok' for 30 minutes, and then close it and try again, the error happens again. I don't know if there's a timer or something it's odd.

Having the same problem as well when i first try to log in. Also randomly Dc'd from a game with my internet being fine and it took me 3 relogs before it would let me reconnect to the game. Once again internet is fine and i logged in fine but couldn't reconnect it just sat at the black screen.

I have been having this issues constantly since the 5.7 patch, always fails on the first attempt then the second is just fine. I have the launcher and the game opened through the fire wall and proper permissions set elsewhere. So not sure what the issue is exactly but figured I would pop my two cents into the pot here.

Same issue. However since this latest patch i can't log in at all. It just gets stuck at "logging in". I have sat through 3 queues already >.>

worked fine before the patch, now it doesn't, GG.

Ohh and the person sitting next to me is on so it's not my net if anyone thinks it is.

Similar Difficulties, I attempted a reinstall and was faced with download errors, freezes, crashes, and it had no effect on the log in issue. I attempted to see if it was a permission issue but that was fruitless as well. The second log in almost always works for me, unless i am slow (10-15 seconds from the first attempt) then it gives me the same message and closes the client.
