Neekos Help and Master Yi bug (possible with other champions)

I had 6 infernal 3 Shadow.

I had a 1 star Master yi on the field with GA, Rageblade and Redemption, and i got another one on the carrusel with a black cleaver. I had a neekos help, but it bounced everytime i tried to use it on master yi, on either the one on the field and the one on the bench, the neekos always bounced and didnt let me upgrade the unit.

It happened on a water field, but the master yi wasnt on a water spot.

literally had the same bug that lost me a game. I was pushing hard for veig 3 and it wouldve been the tipping point that allowed me to win. I had 2 neekos and a veig 2 and 1 veig 1 on my bench. I spammed neeko on every single veigar i had but they all bounced off and I lost because I invested so much into that.
