Champion Abilities Vanish on Kill

If a champion gets a kill right as their mana bar fills, they wont cast it, but they will lose their entire mana bar. Most notably I see it on Lissandra, but it just happened to Katarina. Which. That chick takes forever to fill her bar anyway. So that's a real deal breaker.
