Glacial Freeze permanent

An ashe shot my draven with Ult, I killed the ashe and it was an even fight that took a while to end, but after i frozen hit my draven never unfroze and nobody ever hit him again, but he stayed frozen. The other person was even in chat asking what was going on with him.
