Ask Rito: What is up with TFT LP gains and losses

I see alot of complaints about the tft LP system and I wanted to throw my hat in the ring to. It feels really bad when one lose at 7th or 8th is the same or worse then 2 games at first. Can it be fixed for that the losses dont feel so bad? If I am being match with people my own skill level, it is really difficult to consistently get 1st. The loss makes sense if I am playing lower level opponents whom I am expected to win, but it really feels frustrating and hopeless when it is against peers of the same level. It also hurts, that while I am a firm believer that TFT has less to do with luck them people make it out to be, luck is still very much a part of the game. And when you get bad luck (which happens every once in a blue moon) it can be enough to a diffrence to knock you to 8th place when playing with your peers. Getting 7 or 8th ONCE is enough to undo hours of work. It is also really annoying that when you guys say 4th place is counted as a win, and yet i sometimes still lose LP for getting 4th. Isnt there anything you guys can do? I am hard stuck where I am at, despite coming in the top 4 far more then I dont, I can seem to get ahead due to the LP losses being so large. Even 6th place is about the same LP as getting 1st. I wouldnt mind if LP gains went down some to. Instead of 33 a win, make it 25, if it means losses at 60+ might go down to like 30 or something. Its just nuts and feels really really discouraging and I know for a fact that a notable portion of the player base feels the same. I guess my question is, are you ever going to address this, and if so, when?

Pretty sure there's a wider mmr gap than in SR and due to that, LP gains and losses are slightly more skewed

Its more the slightly it feels, and even when i asked support they said the mmrs were all pretty close ot one another
