question about ranked seasons

Will Teamfight Tactics continue to run on a separate schedule from normal LoL ranked? I'm thinking it will because my rank already got reset on there but not on LoL, but it was close to the end of the normal LoL season so I wasn't sure if they were going to sync it up with that sometime next year or something? I just want to make sure before I go do placements in case there's another reset in January / February or something.

Sorry for the dumb question I just know TFT is early on so wanted to know if they will continue the way it's going or sync them up or change it up somehow. Thanks!

TFT rank and LOL rank are separates and will always be separate. Riot expect to have 3 or 4 TFT ranked season per year, while LOL ranked season is only one per year and usually lasts from January to November.

At the end of every TFT ranked season I guess they will do a reset like the one at the end of season 1: hard reset rank to iron for everyone and soft reset MMR.
