For champions that don't have spells that trigger damage effects (lulu, elise, kindred, kayle, braum) or who don't use mana for their abiliity (vayne, graves, kassadin), does spell power have any effect on them or is it just a waste of an item to attach a spell power item to them?
If it is a waste, why is this?
Kattzy1 votesFollowing. I think ap doesn't do anything for these champs but it's kinda sad when, for example, there is a champion you want on the carousel but she's holding a rod and you also want the rod, but for someone else it works on.
Dawn Prince1 votesYeah, that's exactly the predicament I'm wondering about. Like. If a vayne has a rod, and you intend on building noble, why shouldn't she get something from the rod too? You can build guinsoo's but it's got a wasted stat on it, though the perk probably outweighs the loss.
I don't like the feeling of having to waste one stat for the sake of a perk, or having to sell a champ when you're building that way just to maximize the item potential, especially with the amount of random chance this game mode relies on.
