Okay riot and people who use the forums I'm beside myself rn I've been working as hard as I can to get out of bronze and you guys are sticking me against platinum players am I missing something here? Since when do platinum and gold face against bronze? Never it's supposed to be rank/skill based there's no reason man. I don't even know why I'm posting this riot employees don't care they screw the meta and laugh at us while clamor to figure out their bs and as soon we complain oh our systems out and we are listening to what you have to say. Fix the game man do your jobs.

Its most likely just the silver 1 icon, I used to think it was the Plat Icon but i was wrong as well. Also they could be Plat in norms and the game just uses what ever border is highest. After a few months I've finnaly crawled to gold3 well i think I just went down to G4 but still, If You are having issues Climing I recommend reading some guides https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveTFT/comments/ei528w/optimizing_your_decision_making_in_tft_challenger helped Me its a little out dated now but I learned a lot. I face tons of golds as an iron rank :) Either not enough people are playing the mode to balance it out OR the game is so rng based, it doesn't really matter who you are matched up against. Lose less lp when you play higher opponents if you lose, gain more if you win though..

Well as Iron You can be matched with Up to gold which probably means you have a High MMR also lack of lower ques, as Bronze I fought a lot gold and silver with most games being the lower ranked in lobby. Also They could be gold in norms so its showing gold border for them.
