MMR not increasing

So here is the gist of it. I played today starting at d4 0 lp. I won 5 games and placed 4th 3 times. I lost in 8th twice due to really bad rng. I didn't have any 5th 6th or 7th games. Yet somehow, i have only gone up to d3 0 lp. I am playing against people the same rank as me, so why am i getting 35 lp for first place but -65 for 8th?

You have to fuck up pretty hard to get 8th place. That's why.

Obviusly lp calculations got some pretty obvius flaws in TFT, guessing they trying some transfer of lol calcs wich isnt working properly yet.

Partly because every time you lose with low LP, you don't demote. This means there's a nature increase in LP, unless it's offset.
