TFT Mobile?

Chen Chen··18 votes·17,426 views

Now hear me out first. I don’t want this soon or anywhere near soon. I want riot to fix all the issues with TFT. However with that being said, I really enjoy the game mode and it’s super addicting. The game can go infinitely long with release of new champs, etc. I would love to see a TFT Mobile in the future. The game itself does not require 90% of what rift requires. And all the actions/gameplay features are easily capable on a phone or tablet.

I'd play it if it were on mobile. I need "high quality mobile gaming" other than hearthstone

I have played 2 matches of this now, just to try it out.

First time I went in cold - and I wanted to break something IRL from the frustration of not having a single pointer ingame as to how anything works, is connected or how to navigate. I still get popups in ARAM about "returning to base won't heal me", even after 9654 games there. In Teamfight Tactics: Nothing!

Second time, having read up a bit on it and applied thought and tactics into it, I have not been so bored in a long, long time while actually playing a game.

Nothing happened, time passed and every second of it felt wasted, and the only incentive to keep players hooked is by outright bribing them with "rewards" (emotes, icons, "beta pass" (whatever that is) etc.). It felt outright insulting.

Knowing the basics, the sheer RNG on items and champions felt like a punch in the face too.

This is a pure mobile game, and got NOTHING to do with League of Legends as the game should be played - or used to be played anyway, with actual long-game strategies instead of the second-to-second tactics we now have.

I mean maybe riot misscomunicated somewhere but no, the game doesn't have anything to do with LoL the game, the only thing in common is a LoL skin and 'everybody' knows that. It's a different genre of game.

Might be a mistake on their part if you went in and expected another way to play League like Aram or Urf.

No, no, I know it was supposed to be a different game alltogether (though I had no clue what "Autochess" even was before this).

But as others have already voiced, Teamfight Tactics could do with its own launcher, precisely because it is so different from "normal" League of Legends, as you point out.

I had the exact same idea - this needs to happen. I was literally trying to find out where I should post about when I came across your post. I agree the bugs need to get figured out and adjustments made. I'm really hoping this comes to mobile and, though less-likely, with cross-platform play (Mobile to PC).

It has been thought as a simple cheap mobile game since the beginning, so it's just a matter of time.

The controls are obviously simple enough for mobile. It's pretty much single click or click and drag, easy enough to do on a phone.

However, the biggest hurdle I see is Riot uses their own game engine I am pretty sure. It's not like this is a Unity game where they can just port it to any platform they want.

I would prefer it to be mobile only and remove it from the client since it has only given problems and glitches to it

Uhm idk, i have no bugs in the client caused because/since tft launched.

there is a good chance it is already in development, since there was ..er a "leak" about mobile league of legends happening - and even if not the arena game.. tft is also an option :p

I have this to say to this post. At work i play Underlords on my phone and at home i play TFT on my PC. hint hint nudge nudge

Tho i swear on the blood of my prized family goat if you rush tft to mobile with the same assinine UI as on PC i'm never touching tft again on principle. The current UI is cynically bad...

I think it would be a great idea. But I can 100% say that Riot wont let you crossplay / use the same account as PC. They would lose out on a easy gacha mobile game then.

I need it on mobile! This game is better than any Suppercell games on phone!
