Thirty seconds per round in the beginning is too long but far too short at the mid-late game.

I haven't started playing ranked yet because after 30 or so games I know I'm still not ready. I find myself panicking with not enough time to read what's on the board, figure out how to counter my opponent, what to sell, what to pick up to block 3*s, etc. There's just not enough time at the end.

So, how about we do 20 seconds at the beginning and 45 seconds once it hits mid-game. This will keep the games roughly the same time.

At least increase it after carousels.

30 seconds is too long late game too.

It’s mid game only where it’s too short

It really matters the most when you're not in top 4 and are trying to pivot your strategy.

In those last few rounds when you're cashing in all that gold you saved for economy and rerolling like mad to get an advantage over your last 1 or 2 opponents... It sure would be nice to have another 5 seconds to reposition your champs afterward.

So I think that you need to remember a couple things:

  1. Normals and ranked are very different in my experience. People like to afk/mess around in normals usually while in ranked they're playing more seriously. So even after 100 normal games you might still not be "ready" for ranked.
  2. The game usually rewards you for placing top 4, so you don't need to counter everyone since that's quite difficult sometimes. Instead, try to learn how to go from early game ---> mid game --> late game.
  3. Watch the top ranked players streams/vods/guides and see how they play. I've won games without having to hyper roll 50g in one turn but it's still a good skill to have.
  4. Don't be scared to play ranked. Yes there's bugs and yes there's RNG but it's surprisingly easy to climb since you only need top 4 usually.

I have 86 ranked games with only 8 first place wins and I'm currently plat 3.

Need to have one round where you can call for extended time when you have 50+ gold and no points left. Its frustrating to have no time when this happens...

Or allow players to roll for champions while the carousel is active.
