Why do people buy sword of the divine? Why is it recommended on tftactics? Is the 5%/sec rlly that good? Could someone help me out and explain?

If you have a tanky frontline that can stall for it, it's really good

5% per second isn't really that good, but RNGesus does miracles (in favor of your enemies, of course).

And crit is really good for Assassin synergy, or anyone with Infinity Edge.

It gives more attack speed base than bow but yearh I stopped building it considering how bad I am with low % rng crit items especially when phantom dancer can literally make this item give your unit 100% miss rate on a unit its pretty bad I'd rather split my attack speed boosts on two separate items or champions before building it. There are plenty of other items that are great with the attack speed bow that you can build from it too. Rageblade and the Gun that doubles range and stops your attacks from missing are too good to pass up although It would be pretty great if you can get all 3 on someone....Vayne shoujldn't be a 1 cost unit imo too easy to get her to 3 stars and then surround her with tanks/knights/nobles and just meatshield her until she wins with 3 fully built items.

5 seconds = 25%

So it's a pretty solid item for slower killing teams, rather then insta burst ones.

Never build it though, because Phantom Dancer hard counters it, and is a solid item in itself.
