TFT Bugs + Balance issues

Hello, just a few thoughts for the TFT format before it goes life.

#1: The corners are really buggy, and cause lots of champions to just AFK for no apparent reason.

#2: Sometimes combat ends instantly...weirdly.

#3: when you get a champion on the carousel that would cause one of your champions to upgrade the item that the champion was carrying dissappears.(Sometimes it also causes the item on your champion that you had on the battlefield to disappear as well.)

#4: Sometimes players don't take damage from losing.

#5: item 1043 is always awesome. item 3070 is pretty much trash. And notably item 3085 + item 3022 is probably degenerate.

#6: Intentionally feeding is too powerful early on especially with Gangplank Pyke Graves combo where you can just tank your health for a bit then just out economy everyone by about 25 before having to re-enter the game.

#7: Tristana changes targets between AAs about 50% of the time and that can be pretty unfun.

#8: The carousel is a little dumb because of the raw power level of the items. So it's usually just grabbing an item with a little gold attachment.

#9: Balance-wise Garen is busted.

Overall, the format seems really good and really fun.

I was wondering where to leave feedback, since the forum seems to be just filled with angry players (can't really call them players if they never got a chance to play haHa).

  1. Yeah, putting an assassin on the edges feels bad. It won't leap, and usually sits there until a unit moves within two spaces of it. This can happen to other champions as well, where they won't move into combat for a solid 5 seconds after a unit dies.
  2. I've noticed this happen with the dragon fight (last two alive dragon stage just instantly finishes)
  3. Regarding this bug, this is 100% reproducible if it is holding a tier 1 item (for tier 2, what I've noticed is RNG, sometimes you'll get it, usually you won't).
  4. I have not seen #4 happen, so I can't comment on it
  5. Item imbalance kinda sucks. Recurve bow is too strong, it's usually a priority to get regardless of what champions you need (special shout out to PD; innate dodge mechanics + PD passive is insane, especially considering how much better AA is than spell damage). Also, have to mention item RNG is ridiculous and can sway games from the start (does anybody else have an issue where Krugs don't give items at all? I've played multiple games where I can get 3 items from stage 1 minions, yet consistently receive nothing from Krugs).
  6. Pirate econ is strong, but I think Pyke is the x-factor here.
  7. AI targeting is a bit frustrating. It's fine on most champions, but a few are inconsistent (Trist, Reksai). In addition, placing a tankier champion in the backline doesn't do much when facing assassins because those tanky champions will move into combat, allowing assassins to re-target to your squishy carries.
  8. IMO Garen falls behind once the higher tier champions start rolling (Draven). I think the Glacial stack is busted. Only need 2 to start stunning, Frozen Mallet converts a champion into Glacial, and most of the Glacial champs are really strong (I think Braum is the only weak one).

An issue I have with champion RNG rolls is that you could have 2 level 2 champions and 2 level 1 champions, but will not be able to purchase that last 1g because the rolls are weighted for higher tier champions later in the game.
