I feel like having the option to play against bots would be great for tft to try things out without having to waste time in normal games. Dota Underlords has the option to play 4 different difficulties and youre also able to leave the match and pick up where you were when you left.
TFT bots might be kinda cool just to try out some what if spicy comps lol. I could see them implementing that with a Normal/Expert difficulty. I dont forsee them adding a save and load feature because you cant even do that in custom matches.
How would it be different though? You don't directly control your army, so when facing other players it's pretty much the same as facing a bot cause they are auto fighting.
Have you seen the AI in this game?
It would be pointless.
