Make games shorter, remove crousel

Games are now needlessly long.

  1. Remove the carousels. It's wasting so much time and just random picking.
  2. Just have everyone start with 5-10 gold and let them buy the first hero they want.
  3. Let everyone pick one item out of 3-5 at the start.
  4. increase the item drops to compensate items from carousel.
  5. Remove the useless "against bots" rounds, no fun there just waste of time.

You can easily shave off at least 10-15 minutes of the games

Carousel is part of the tactic that makes lose-streaking viable though.

If you remove their first pick from carousel then that strat gets a lot weaker, which makes the meta much more limiting.

Now, having a point and click champion/item pick with the same order would be much better, also prevents a player from being lucky to spawn near the better champ/item while the other person can't do anything about it.

Yeah, cannot really get back into the game from a losing streak without the carousel handicap. While it is sometimes annoying, it's a necessary mechanic.

1: it gives time to plan

2: giving person a start they want is asking for more limited comps. (imagine every person buyign a lucian given hes the best early unit) Also this does let a person deny an enemy pick. (enemy looking for that last unit to get 3star? well i'll just take it so they dont get any more powerful)

3: possibly doable.

4: so give in to more RNG?

5: by bots i assume you mean ghost armies? explain how an odd number left would work then??

how long do you think carousel rounds last? Casue even after 6 or 7 you aint cutting down on 10min+.... (and vs bots doesntm atetr as its same time as a normal match)

Everything you listed just screams lazy.

TFT is a strategy game. You basically want to remove parts of what makes it strategy and makes you think.

If you think the carousel is just "random picking" then you are playing the game all wrong. At the start you are bragging whatever you prefer thats in reach because its a free for all. But the other rounds you are looking for the champ to fit your comp or component to complete a item. Or sometimes even pick a champ you know someone else needs to complete a 3*. You dont just run grab random stuff every time.

You want to be given gold to start and just pick whatever champ you want and item you want at the start, thats just lazy man. The point of the game is to be able to strategize and adjust as you go. I dont see anything wrong with the game length.
