Anyone else kind of think all the new skins on PBE are being made essentially so they can add them to TFT this set?? Desert Rengar?? I mean do some of these even make sense from a lore stand point?? Glacial sylas?? Desert/mage ryze?? I'm not faulting them but considering they are pumping out skins/champions faster than ever... Now they have more reasons to make skins is what im saying... Might be time to invest in their stock hehe

It's been what, 2 years since the last Guardian of the Sands skins? I don't think they're just cranking these out for TFT, I think they're just revisiting a skin line that's not been used in a while. I personally think that all 3 of these skins are very fitting for the champions picked.

Sylas is an oddity, but then, Freljord seems to be their go-to when they don't know what to do for skins (like Taliyah). None of these have really made sense. From a lore perspective on Freljord Sylas, it does appear that they're angling it as him being in exile building up a following so he can go back to Demacia, as shown by his recall in the skin where he pulls down a Demacian monument.

Otherwise, lore doesn't usually apply to skins, because skins are generally supposed to create their own lore and interpretation of the characters.

These skins are to just continue skinlines that people still enjoy and haven't seen in awhile. Nothing they do has to specifically do with another mode.

People have always liked it when champions that are related in one way or another get matching skins, so having Rengar join the GoTS collection is good cause it goes along with Kha'zix who had the first. Janna is one that gets skins regularly so she just gets them cause. And then Ryze hasn't seen a lot after his VGU so they are kind of playing catch up I'd say in that regard.

Sylas's skin was due cause his launch skin will be legacy in 2020, and this new one is Lore related (as he currently resides in Freljord ) so it fits him just fine.
