Ranked System - Queue up Restrictions

So recently i hit Platin, while my friend is shortly before hitting Gold. and now we cant play together anymore.

While i get it - the system is heavily inspired by the Original LoL Ranked System - i think it would be much better to instead of forbidding the queue up together that it simply disrecards the lower MMR (my only assumption here is that the Ranking gap is so big that the game would have a hard time finding suiteable opponents in the "middle" of our rankings) and only takes the higher one in Consideration. This is not like normal League where a "noob" would "drag down" your team.

Hoping that this feedback can be heard, and maybe sparks some change in the system

I think it would be much better for friends to queue up together only in un-ranked games. Ranked games are not a team event. They are a single player competitive environment and the "teeming" of players has the potential for collusion and cheating.
