I am at gold 2 but I only add 30Lp when I win the first place, my friend 2nd place +44Lp, if I got 4th place still will lose Lp (-4), I though top 4 still equal win. I won first place *3 = 77Lp and lose 2 game as 7th place then my Lp (77-77) back to 0, why I only add 30Lp when I win a first place?
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've been in Gold 1 and 2 for a while now. Last night I a few LP away from getting promoted to Diamond. I won the next game. I think, "Hell yeah! I'm getting promoted to diamond!" Nope! . I find out now if I win a game I get about 10-20LP. If i finish 5th I lose ~30LP. If I go any lower I'm basically going back to zero and then if I get 4th or 5th the next game I'm demoted.
There is ABSOLUTELY a soft cap on some players. I moved my way up through Iron and now I'm basically stuck. Here's my last few games in Gold 1: Game 1 - 1st Game 2 - 1st Game 3 - 2nd Game 4 - 3rd Game 5 - 1st Game 6 - 6th
Mind you... I was GOLD 1 when I started the games. I got up to 74 LP after that awesome streak. After that 6th, I'm not sitting at 33LP.
System is rigged. I believe if you have played TONS or their original version (I don't play the normal version) you get better LP multiples. If you play a few games a day at the most, you're F'd.
