Abyssal Mask & BF Sword Graphical Errors

Despite Abyssal Mask not currently being in TFT, a friend of mine had an error in 3+ games where all items he saw in his & or other people's inventories looked like Abyssal Mask. The first time it happened, it only swapped the textures for the Needlessly Large Rods he had in his inventory & nothing else. But then as stated above, it eventually made all of the item textures look like the Abyssal Mask icon (only for him & only on the items not equipped to a champion). Soon after that, his Tristana somehow got a double BF Sword & he couldn't upgrade them.
