i hate starting a game and not getting the pick i want in first carousel then not getting any items, but still having to wait till 10 minutes to ff. It doesn't hurt anyone, it should be shortened to like 3 minutes which is about when they finish 1st stage, or 5 minutes which is a round number :3

I've never seen anyone surrender in TFT. I have however seen people get no items through rocks and just sell everything to open and leave the game.

Agreed - the game is mostly RNG. It's easy to realize you have little to no chance of winning after just a couple minutes. No point in holding players hostage since there isn't a team involved. There's little to no interactivity with enemy players either, so it's practically a single player game. Players should always be able to walk away from a single player game.

We sometimes use the surrender function to re-party with party, 10 mins is about right though

You surrender?! XD

I had no idea there was a limitation. I have quit precisely one game that I would consider "early", and it let me without a fuss.

10 minutes is about right, you shouldn't be quitting because you didn't get what you needed in the first 5 rounds. That defeats the whole purpose of the game.

In my opinion 10minutes is just fine, what you are describing is that you do not get enough items, while others do. The solution to this problem is NOT being able to ff early. This would just be fighting the symptoms. The solution to this problem is to make the amount of item drops fairer.

Right now it can be considered unfair, I made a poll in the german forums. As of now 70% of players perceive the item system as it is now is rather negative.

With the next patch the item amount is being made fairer, but not fair. It's a step in the right direction, but it's still heavily luck based and the only reason it's fairer than the system as of now is because the system right now is absurdly unfair.

The system that is planned is still absurdly unfair and will therefor not solve your problem.

You need to be in top 4 to "win"

My last win I got 1 item from all minions and none from wolves. Got 2 NLRs from krugs after using everything else in desperation. Gave Rabadons to Varus who had a Shiv from starting recurve and carousel tear, he destroyed.

Just because you get tilted from your luck doesn't mean riot should change the time. If they change it, people will just spam surrender to earn tokens, the player amount will be lower and most of the times games will be half empty. Riot are working on the item drops and RNG affecting people less. Also, not getting a lot of items doesn't mean you lose the game. The champion cycle helps you get the item you need if you're behind, which leaves the top players at a disadvantage. You can fall on 1hp early and still win the game.

I understand having this for RANKED TFT but not for normals. I use TFT to wait for my friends to get out of their games to play with them, and this makes it very hard to do that. I just liked the little throw away normal games to play while waiting for people. [zombie-brand-mindblown]
