Public Beta Environment (PBE) for players solely playing TFT

I recently cut a support ticket wanting to understand how the access to the PBE for Team Fight Tactics is done, I was advised that I need to be Honor Rank 3 or higher. The challenge with this is the requirement for getting into the PBE for TFT is not tied to playing TFT and thus creates a bit of a negative experience as now I am being forced to play a game (LoL) that personally doesn't interest me to be qualified for the beta of a game while under the same IP, is completely different.

My suggestion to Riot on this is to either have the HR system merged into TFT or allow the BPE for TFT entry to be a separate requirement.

I am having the same problem, played alot of TFT since it release, liked it alot but i'm pretty done with LoL. I was curious to try the PBE but couldn't get access since TFT doesnt participate in the honor system and I haven't really played LoL for years.

It quite sucks.

Absolutely not. The pbe is for the primary game, League of legends, with a bonus I guess, which would be tft. If you want access, earn it like the rest of the players. Or find a 'Work around'.

i had this seem issue, but somehow i managed to register for a public beta account anyway? even tho my honor level is still sitting at 2. point being. if you keep trying, theirs a chance you may be able to register. i may have also been able to register because i created a ticket. but i'm kind of unsure of how it occurred. and i agree it should diffidently be changed, either give us a way to gain honor in TFT or have a separate PBE for tft players good luck all!
