Stopped watching at first tip as that is absolutely wrong and it is a way to lose. Maybe it works in DOTA but it doesn't work in TFT at all.

Heyo!

As someone who spammed TFT quite intently for a few days straight i honestly agree with pretty much all your assessments, heck i even follow most of them myself although i kinda suck at doing the last one x)

But indeed, just randomly upgrading some units to last you as long as possible to hit 50 gold before getting serious about putting things together is almost always ideal, sometimes you´ll get lucky and....like have a gold tristana/kha6 or kassadin etc early and you can build around them but to be honest i too found it very rare.

And sitting on your items and gold until you can turn them to needed stuff is basically necessary to have a shot at winning, each random piece put together without a plan could become a costly difference when compared to one´s opponents.

So being flexible is indeed what i found to be the most important,although knowing which teamcomps&units are good certainly helps a lot......a item combo spreadsheet is also very, very handy.
