why don't we level up from playing tft?

Just curious like im still level one but almost plat. there is so much i could earn by leveling up that i miss out on because i only play tft

probably bc they dont want people ONLY playing tft then jumping into ranked play @ lvl 30

I have same question. Why after the game in TFT mode rank and normal, account does not receive experience? Matches lasting 40 minutes and no experience... :(

Yeah it seems like the whole TFT project is very poorly conceived and executed.

You answered your own question. If you leveled up playing TFT, you'd have a sizeable champion pool you couldn't play and very little understanding of the game. TFT should have (better) rewards, and perhaps its own independent level system, but they shouldn't carry over into ways that affect the gameplay on SR or even HA. You would be a liability to your team.
