New little legends and rn-jesus

So I absolutely love the little legends, they're adorable and I would spend money on them. (If you personally dont care about cosmetics, than this thread isn't for you.) However, the rng on top of the price is too much. If you really want to get the little legends that appeal to you, than your best chance is to get the 10 egg bundle for 35 bucks and hope you get it. Idk about you, but 35 for a chance is way too much. I had bought 2 bundles on the pbe to see what chance I stood and I got 1 out of 4 little legends that I liked the most and they were only rare drops. Obviously Riot has to make money somewhere on this and I have 0 problems with that, I'd just like to see some adjustments to it. Maybe something like allowing us to buy the first tier and upgrades are more rng? Maybe even eggs for the specific species but rng skin type? I'm not gonna claim that I know what to do without them sacrificing too much money, but I'd love to hear some feedback from Riot on little legends. Lemme know what you think.

I don’t really mind the RNG aspect of it, but I’m only speaking from a personal side.

I come from a background of MMOs with cosmetics hidden behind loot boxes that I’ve wasted more money than I care to admit trying to obtain. It’s a bad habit but ehh. It’s not hurting anyone but myself lol.

I really wish that riot would implement a way to reroll little legends though.

Like... I’ve only bought 20 of the eggs (so far, pray for me). Out of the 22 I’ve opened (cuz the bonus +1 per 10), I’ve gotten maybe 3/4 that I like.

I wish it were possible to reroll little legends that you obtain into new ones. Just for the sake of trying to upgrade the ones you actually like. Like if you could reroll two little legends of one tier into a new little legend of that same tier, I’d be happy. I’ve got one of the legendaries sitting at a 2star that I want to upgrade but don’t want to risk opening more eggs.

I mean in a dream world my ideal scenario would be sacrificing 2-3 different little legends of the same tier to upgrade one of the same tier.

I.e. you have a 2star haunting, and you use 2-3 2star silverwings/furyhorns to upgrade the haunting to a 3star.

Or maybe disenchant them into some form of essence to use as upgrade material instead? I dunno.

I don’t think it’s profitable enough for them but it would be a happy middle ground for a majority of players I believe. At least at that point it’s somewhat similar to the masterwork chests mechanics.

I've spent $400 on little legends on 2 accounts compulsively. Like it or not, that's why they are so high. People love League so much that it's the only game they spend money on, and once you've opened your wallet, it rarely closes.

I would like to buy a BEE (bee happy, bee mad and bee angry from emotes) if it would be purchasable and not hidden in a lootbox (damn EA). Otherwise I am happy with my free Runespirit ( lvl1 is best anyway)

It's a really greedy system no matter how you look at it. Like you said, every company is trying to make money but this is just a REALLY bad way. Not only are the little legends options extremely limited with a bunch of recolors, but you can't even purchase what you want. It's just cosmetics so I'm not up in arms about it, but it leaves me absolutely zero desire to put down any $$ on it.

Thanks for the varied responses, I'm really hoping that if this is said enough times that Riot will pay attention to it and make something happen.

I care about cosmetics I just don't see any point in spending an abhorent amount of money to have the CHANCE to craft a little legend.

I only ever care about having them solely for TFT, I don't ever bring them into ARAM and therefore isn't worth spending any RP on.
