All chat in TFT

Why is all chat in TFT even a thing? It literally enables toxicity. I'm so glad you stacked lights and deserts but you don't have to say "get fucked" or "kys" after each turn. Why can't there be team chat like when you queue with people there's a chat specific/designated? 95% of the time ppl who queue up are in disc anyways, but even so what's the point in talking (besides GLHF, Hi how are you) ?

Sick of the abuse, reports don't seem to do anything, really ruins a good time when you have that one toxic person.

Do you know why they added the option for you to turn chat off entirely in your games? Hint: It was because of TFT. You can totally just turn off any and all chat that anyone sends you at all ever in the options menu. I'm not sure exactly where it is because I'd personally never use it, but I know it exists.

There is a very convenient Mute button that appears when you move the mouse over another player's portrait. It was one of my first big discoveries in TFT. It mutes not only chat but also pings from that player - which is often far more annoying than chat. Priceless!

ditto it should be removed the only way to communicate should be throught pet interaction.

I mute if people are toxic, but I very rarely run into toxicity once you get out of the lower ranks.

to add in I don't even care if someone calls me a snowflake or muteall I shouldn't have to mute all in a game that's trying to get away for being notoriously known for toxicity.

Because most of us don't have that problem, and enjoy talking with others.

You have the option to disable it. Riot has no reason to take away something because you don't like it.
