Dragon Buff and similar things

So i just had a game where i was doing pretty well, and got 6 sorcs + elementalists relatively early. I was getting a bit low, but had the right items on the right champs and was pretty confident going into late.

Until i run into a guy with lvl 2 shyv and Asol and get completely smashed.

Is it me being stupid, or is it a bit annoying that a single buff invalidates entire team comps? If you run any comp that relies on magic damage and run into a dragon comp, you pretty much auto lose. I would be fine with dragons negating a large amount of magic damage, but getting 2 champs and pretty much invalidating entire strategies feels a bit weird.

At least with PD you still take some damage from basic attacks, and you can build RFC against it. But if i go sorcerers i pretty much cannot win if i run into dragons, no other buff does something like this. Maybe i could have switched to demons, but its not like you know that you're going up against a specific player beforehand...
